Varna
Neo-Gothic Varna is the place where the brewmaster ruled.
It used to be the heart of the brewery, today it is the heart of the complex. An architectural and technological gem. Here you’ll find an exhibition of work.
During the tour of Varna you have the opportunity to see the historic brewhouse and to take a look into the modern production of today’s only brewery in Český Krumlov, including a tasting of our beer.

The brewery is part of the Port 1560 centre, where you can see the brewery exhibition Varna, but also see the original malt house full of dream fantasies in Hvozd, admire the history and architecture in the exhibition of the bourgeoisie of the Český Krumlov sub-castle in the exhibition Life or art in the Gallery. Both parts are located in the architectural uniqueness of the Rogendorf Palace.
The Knot
It is used for drying sprouted barley – malt. And it’s full of period technology from floor to floor. We’ve repaired them, from the basket lift to the hats. In addition, you’ll see an exhibit called Dreams.
Rogendorf Palace
Gothic foundations with Renaissance flourishes. This is the palace where Peter Vok’s mother, Anna of Rogendorf, lived. Today, it houses the interactive exhibition Life and the Art exhibition in the gallery section.
Art Gallery
Head to the Gallery and be inspired by the artistic projects of renowned artists, members of the Association of Czech Graphic Artists Hollar Prague. The regularly changing exhibitions are a cross-section of what printmaking techniques have to offer.
The space also includes a graphics workshop where you can sign up for a graphics workshop led by experienced tutors.
