Lovers of our beer can now take it literally anywhere. The historic brewery Český Krumlov is expanding its offer and is now also bottling its pale lager in cans. The tradition brewed in the heart of Český Krumlov is thus given a modern form that is practical for trips, water, festivals, summer gatherings with friends and as a souvenir of a visit to Český Krumlov.
The can has one big advantage – it is lightweight, easy to cool and fits easily into a backpack or picnic basket. Whether you are going to the Vltava River, hiking in the surrounding hills or want to bring back an original gift from Krumlov, Krumlov lager can be with you.
But nothing changes in the content. Inside remains our classic pale lager, brewed with an emphasis on honest craft and brewing tradition that has been associated with Český Krumlov for centuries. It just put on a new coat.
The new cans are available in the brewery’s Lahvárna store and will gradually appear in other outlets. If you’ve been associating a trip with a bottle, maybe it’s time to try that lager can travel light, too.
