Today, R.D. Mgr. Jan Rothschedl, the parish vicar, blessed the new beer in the presence of the brewer Dagmar Vlková and guests connected with the brewery and the town. Thus we inaugurated our festival beer ROGENDORF 10, which will become a part of this year’s Český Krumlov Beer Festival as well as the regular tapping in our town.
The tradition of brewing beer at this place dates back to 1560, when Anna of Rogendorf, an Austrian noblewoman, wife of Josht III of Rožmberk and mother of the last Rožmberks, William of Rožmberk and Peter Vok, had her palace built near the present-day Brewery Garden. She founded a brewery right next to it and thus laid the foundation for the local brewing industry, which continues to this day.

An important part of ROGENDORF 10’s identity is its visual appearance.
The author of the label is the artist Jindra Čapek, whose work adds personality and refinement to our beer. His handwriting is unmistakable and we are proud that he is behind this edition.
