The menu is dominated by fresh freshwater fish from local fishermen – trout, pikeperch, carp and perch – accompanied by honest meat dishes and homemade desserts. In addition, in summer, a bistro-bar opens right by the water, offering one of the best views of the castle.

House with a story
The Zdroj Restaurant is housed in a building that was built in the late Renaissance period and originally served as the town armoury. The first mention of its use dates back to 1677, when the town bought the adjacent stable.
In the centuries that followed, it was used for storing town carriages, artillery weapons, and later also as a granary and horse stable. The house thus served the practical purposes of the town’s defence and economy for a long time.

Today, the resource serves as a gathering place – whether you’re planning a family celebration, a company party, a wedding, or just sitting by the river. The summer terrace by the water is popular not only for the view, but also for the friendly service and laid-back atmosphere.
